Coco’s Second Chance
Coco, a five-year-old husky, was hit by a car and suffered a severe leg injury. His family, facing financial hardship, had no choice but to consider surrendering him. Through The LEO Project, Coco received a prosthetic limb and a second chance at life. Today, he thrives with a loving family that ensures he gets the care he deserves.
Whiskers & Mrs. Thompson
At 18 years old, Whiskers the cat was the only companion of Mrs. Thompson, a senior living on a fixed income. When Whiskers needed urgent medical care, The LEO Project stepped in to cover his treatment. Thanks to our donors, Whiskers and Mrs. Thompson remain together, bringing each other comfort and companionship.
The Boy and His Dog
After a family dog saved a young boy’s life, the dog himself fell seriously ill. Unable to afford the $4,000 treatment, the family faced an impossible decision. Although the dog ultimately passed, the community’s efforts to save him gave the family hope, dignity, and the understanding that no one should have to choose between their pet and financial survival.
Meet Gary
Gary came to us after being hit by a car. Thanks to available funding, we were able to take him in and support his recovery with radiographs, medication, and lots of care. Gary received the treatment he needed to heal from his traumatic accident.
Meet Archie
Your contribution has gone towards helping pets like Archie who came to us with a severely fractured right hind leg which resulted in emergency amputation. Archie is living his best life with his owner now and gets around perfectly on three legs.
Meet Stormi
Stormi came into the clinic with a right hind femoral fracture, which has since been amputated due to muscle wasting. Stormi was given the treatment she needed through The Leo Project. Now she is living her best life with her 3 siblings.
